Personal Work : Design Principle: Poster Design (Me Designer)
For the poster:
I chose the theme of a person going into space. I choose space because I have always been fascinated by it. The vast space is similar to our vast course where we can come across unimaginable things and sometimes we can self-imagine things and hope we find it there.
I chose a combination of analogous colors, complementary colors, and neutral colors to create a contrast effect and make the poster eye-catching.
I have also tried to implement the rule of thirds by placing the main element at a certain point. I have used the frame to show a dramatic effect and a feel of curiosity. The cityscape at the bottom represents my birthplace. That where I come from to further explore the world. The “Me Designer” text is written in one of my favorite font “LT Oksana”.
For my self-expression poster design, I have tried to explain what I want to pursue by choosing this course. As I am already a passionate photographer, I have imagined myself in the poster carrying a camera and taking a step into the world of exploration. I also used to do a lot of designing before joining this course. So now I want to use my self-learned knowledge and the professional knowledge of this digital designing course to further enhance and explain my ideas and concepts. I chose this course to actually know the real world of designing and multimedia.
